Learning Resources

The libraries at Legenda support the academic needs of students and staff of the colleges by providing adequate resources and facilities.  It contains an effective “booksâ€? and “non-booksâ€? collection in fields of studies offered, supplementary reading selections that enhance the teaching and learning process and self development; reference collection, and a range of periodicals. 

Internet access is also available in the library.

General Reading Academic textbooks, Novels, Literature, English Workbooks.
Reference Collection Blue Spot
  • These item are meant for lecturer.
  • The collection includes essential reading material recommended by lecturers.
Red Spot
  • This is a collection of heavily used items which have been set aside to ensure equitable access to high demand items such as textbook, items on reading list and lecture notes.
Reference Section Periodical collection, Student projects, Past Year Question Paper, Newspaper cutting and etc.
Newspaper (Under subscription) New Straits Times, The Star, Sin Chew Daily, Berita Harian, Utusan Malaysia, KOSMO.
Magazines (Under subscription) Computer World, Economist, Education Quarterly, Forbes Global, Fortune, Majalah PC, Malaysian Business, National Geographic, PC Magazine Malaysia, PC World Malaysia, Reader Digest and Third World Economic.
Journal (Under subscription) Accountants Today, Architecture Malaysia,

* Some journals were donated by Lecturers and  individual and were kept under closed stack collection.

4. Library Services

Loan Services Loan is extended only to registered members of the library.
Internet Facilities Include accessing to e-mail, the library’s online databases and other sources of information during the operational hours of the library are also available for free. However, users must abide by the regulations imposed by Legenda Education Group Library, as failure to do so can result in the withdrawal of their surfing privileges.
Discussion Room Discussion rooms are available for students wanting to study together. Each room may be used for a maximum period of two hours. Reservation for Discussion Room can be made at the Circulation Desk. All registered users are eligible to use room.
Photocopying Services Self-service photocopying machine operated by a private company are available to all students by purchasing the magnetic cards available at the stationery shop. Library users are reminded of the Copyrights infringement; only small portions of the reading materials may be photocopied without infringing the Copyrights Act. Neither the Library nor Legenda Education Group will be held responsible for any actions involving the students in copyrights infringement
Online Public Access catalog (OPAC) Legenda Education Group library online catalogue contains bibliographic link records on collection of books available in the library.
