Ooi Chong Seong
Dato’ Raymond Ooi Chong Seong is the President and Founder of Legenda Education Group (LEG). Dato’ Raymond Ooi Chong Seong with more than a decade of experience in the field of higher education, is recognised as a pioneer of private tertiary education in Malaysia. Prior to the founding of LEG, Dato’ Raymond Ooi Chong Seong held several senior management positions, both in private and public corporations and is recognised as a prominent member of the business community.
He holds an Advanced Diploma in Business from the Association of Business Executives (“ABE”), UK and Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (“CIM”), UK. He is also a Fellow member of both ABE and CIM.
In August 2008, in recognition for his contribution to the state and his pioneering role in the field of higher education in Malaysia, Dato’ Raymond Ooi Chong Seong was awarded the Darjah Paduka Tuanku Jaafar (D.P.T.J) which carries the title Dato’ by the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan. He was also recently awarded the award of the “10 Best Overseas Chinese Entrepreneur” at the China International Economics & Technology Cooperation in 2010.
